Full line-up announced Nov. 6
Legendary rockers the Foo Fighters will headline Welcome To Rockville in April. The annual Jacksonville, Fla., rock fest also grows to three days in 2018.
Welcome To Rockville’s full lineup will be announced Nov. 6. Slated for April 27, 28 & 29 at Metropolitan Park, the event kicks off the annual World’s Loudest Month festival series, which also includes Carolina Rebellion, Rock on the Range, and others. Organizers say more details for the World’s Loudest Month 2018 will be announced soon.
“Next year’s Rockville promises to be the biggest rock weekend Florida has ever seen, and Foo Fighters are only the beginning,” says festival producer Danny Wimmer, in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters ninth album, and second to hit #1 in the U.S., Concrete and Gold dropped last month. Since The Foos’ 1995 release of their self-titled debut album, Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee have won 11 Grammy Awards, sold 25 million records, and more.
