Ringo Starr announced he’ll hit the road for a tour with his All Star Band.
The North American tour kicks off in late May with two dates in Ontario, before hitting the Northeast and ending in Florida. The trek includes stops in New York City, Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta and Clearwater.
Starr and his supergroup the All Starr Band recently celebrated a 30 year anniversary. While members have changed over the years, the All Star Band is currently comprised of Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Gregg Rolie and Hamish Stuart.
What’s more, the former Beatles drummer dropped his 20th solo album “What’s My Name,” last month. Produced by Starr, the record features cast a cast of musicians and friends playing with him. Among them, Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, Dave Stewart, Benmont Tench, Steve Lukather, Nathan East, Colin Hay, Richard Page, Warren Ham, Windy Wagner, Kari Kimmel, and others.
